The Chariot

Uprightcontrol · willpower · victory · determination
Reversedlack of control · aggression · directionless · roadblocks

A crowned warrior stands inside a chariot drawn by two opposing sphinxes—one black, one white. They do not have reins; they must be steered purely by the strength of the driver's mind and intent.

Adorned with alchemical symbols and a canopy of stars, the Charioteer has built an iron ego capable of navigating the material world, though he must ensure he does not become detached from the emotional depths beneath him.

Upright

The Chariot is the ultimate card of triumph earned through sheer willpower. Upright, it commands you to harness conflicting forces, maintain laser-like focus, and drive forward aggressively toward your goals regardless of obstacles.

Reversed

Reversed, the Chariot represents a loss of control, an unraveling of willpower, or goals derailed by internal or external conflict. It warns that you are either pushing too aggressively or spinning your wheels in midair.
