Numbered zero, The Fool stands outside the sequence and yet contains it — the soul before its journey, unmarked and unafraid.
He carries everything he owns in a small bundle and nothing in his heart but trust. The cards that follow are the lessons he will meet along the way.
Upright
The Fool steps off the cliff with the sun at his back, trusting the road to appear beneath his feet. Upright, he is pure potential — a fresh start, an open journey, the courage to begin before you can see the end.
Reversed
Reversed, the leap curdles into a stumble. The Fool warns of risks taken blindly, of holding back from a chance out of fear, or of refusing to grow up when the road clearly calls.
