The Moon

Uprightillusion · fear · anxiety · the subconscious
Reversedreleasing fear · unmasking secrets · intuition rising · clarity

A path winds between two distant towers under a full moon that sheds drops of golden light. A dog and a wolf bay at the sky, while a primitive crayfish crawls out of the dark water, taking its first steps onto land.

The Moon represents the wild, evolutionary journey of the mind out of the primordial depths of fear. It is the card of dreams, artistic fantasy, and the terrifying distortions that occur when logic is eclipsed by imagination.

Upright

The Moon illuminates the treacherous landscape of the subconscious mind. Upright, it warns of illusions, deception, deep-seated anxieties, and projecting your fears onto reality. Not everything is as it seems in the moonlight.

Reversed

Reversed, the shadows begin to recede. The Moon reversed signals that illusions are breaking down, secrets are being brought to light, and you are successfully navigating your anxieties to achieve emotional clarity.
